EZ Objects Library Installation..

November 2007

Many scenery designers are now using Abacus EZ Scenery to enhance the FS2004 default airports...The end user must build an EZ Objects Library to see these enhanced objects...

This Readme wil help you create an "Object Libraries" in your Addon Scenery folder.. I have provided a list of all of the downloaded object files I am using with Abacus EZ Scenery Creator.. I am sure that I have missed a few...

Many thanks to all the designers who built these original files...

These files are all availible at AVSIM or Flightsim..

Proceed at your own risk.....I'll be glad to help if I can...

Installation...........

1. Create a folder named EZ Objects Library in your FS2004 Addon Scenery folder.

2. In the EZ Objects Library folder create two sub-folders...name them Scenery and Texture

Path: Flight Simulator 9
Addon Scenery
EZ Objects Library
Scenery
Texture

3. Unzip your downloaded file "EZxxxxx.zip" to a temp folder...

You will now have a scenery and texture sub-folder... (They may be in another folder such as FS2004) Extract all the bgl, xml and txt files from the scenery folder and copy them to the Addon Scenery/EZ Objects Library/scenery folder...manually (Copy and paste is best)

4. As with the above files.. Extract all the *.bmp files from the texture folder and copy them to the Addon Scenery/EZ Objects Library/texture folder...manually

5. Open FS2004 and go to the Settings / Scenery Library / Add Area and add EZ Objects Library as you would add any other scenery...

6. Open FS2004 and the files will build..
Now go fly your favorite EZ airport...

------------------------------

The Runway12 program will create its own Static Objects Library folder in your main Addon Scenery folder...
This folder will be used the same as the EZ Objects Library except it will contain rwy12 files...
